I'm a fan of Jane Austen's writings, and everything related to nineteenth-century issues, but Julia Quinn creates a parallel world that doesn't mention common families, but rather narrates the lives of the upper class. Although some may see it as primarily a romance novel, I see the other side of love stories: the struggle with the past, and this is Quinn's approach in her writing.
Anthony's struggle with death is not easy at all, and overcoming or transcending his suffering is the challenge itself.
Since reading The Duke, I have been impressed by Quinn's pen and her discussion of real, not contrived, personal psychological issues.
I loved Kate and Anthony's fights, but I didn't like the Pullmul matches.
As for the features, I found that Anthony's character adhered to the traits and characteristics mentioned in the first book, and this is a wonderful thing.
The translation is very nice and beautiful, and what I liked most was the translation of the paragraphs that describe what is in the soul, and the descriptive paragraphs
