First Year Psychology is a book that will help you understand and befriend yourself, love your body, and respect yourself in your relationships. In 2016, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and from that day on, my life changed. Since then, I have been reading extensively about mental health, attending individual and group therapy sessions regularly, and writing down everything I learn. Two years ago, I started specialized studies. At the beginning of the journey, I was confused, and scientific psychology books were complicated and difficult for me. I wanted to read simple books that would take me on a journey of understanding myself and relationships. After five full years of writing and studying, I decided to try to present this book; a book that will help anyone starting out, a book that sheds light on some difficult concepts and communicates them in a simple way for those who are just starting the path to psychological awareness. This book is for you if you are just beginning your journey of self-discovery, if you are still searching for yourself and want to stand on solid ground... that's why it's called First Year Psychology
