Our children today may live a false manhood and heroism. You see one of them sitting in front of the computer, tablet, etc., playing violent video games, killing this one and destroying that one, and in the end he gets up feeling brave and victorious, and suddenly his mother says to him: Bring a glass of water from the kitchen, and he says to her: I am afraid, the kitchen is dark. So where did his courage that he felt in front of the game go? Dear generous father, dear caring mother, everyone wishes that their children be men, who stand firm in times of hardship, are patient in times of calamity, are grateful in times of prosperity, obey their parents in their youth, and are dutiful to them in their old age. But wishes alone are not enough. To make a grown man out of your child, there must be work and diligence, along with prayer, patience, and hope. In order for us to be of help to parents and educators, in this book we present a bouquet of practical, realistic, and creative ideas, and we ask God to grant us men among our children. They help every needy person, support every oppressed person, bring happiness to the face of every sad person, relieve the distressed, and assist the needy. They are obedient to their Lord, dutiful to their fathers, and loyal to their homelands.
