I spent evenings filled with stories, benefits, gems, and curiosities with autobiographies, and I loved recording them. Then I would like to invite you, dear reader, to share these evenings with me, so that we may have some intimacy with the departed. This book is pages from my biography as a reader and my story with memoirs. I lived with these characters in my exile, and I escaped from reality to the world of imagination, listening to these experiences, trying to understand history through the lessons these books offer. But behind that, there is another goal: to search for practical lessons that apply to my life; how they lived and faced the vicissitudes of life and their destinies. These readings strengthened my resolve and fortified me, and taught me a lot about endurance and patience. It is a glimpse into nearly forty personalities. I hope it will be an enjoyable and useful glimpse into the world of memoirs and biographies.
