Regarding the Reward of Good Deeds

This book contains verses from the Clear Book and excerpts from the sayings of the Master of Messengers concerning the reward of workers for their excellent deeds, so that it may be an incentive for those with high ambitions to attain those lofty ranks. The author described his book saying, "This is a book in which I mention verses from the Noble Quran and excerpts from the sayings of the Master of Messengers concerning the reward of workers for their excellent deeds, so that it may be an incentive for those with high ambitions. I have organized it into chapters and refined it, attributing its hadiths to their origins, clarifying the authentic from the weak according to a specific terminology mentioned in the introduction. And know that I have mentioned in this book every deed for which the Prophet, peace be upon him, explicitly stated a reward, excluding what he did or commanded without specifying the reward for its doer in earning it." He also mentioned its sources. He arranged the hadiths under 14 chapters, with each chapter containing dozens of sub-topics. This book is among the most important resources for Muslims and preachers in particular, and it includes an index for the beginnings of the hadiths.
