Mahasin al-Ta'wil, or Tafsir al-Qasimi, is a commentary on the Holy Quran, authored by Jamal al-Din al-Qasimi (1283 AH / 1866 - 1332 AH / 1914). This commentary by the renowned scholar of Damascus, al-Qasimi, is considered a modern encyclopedia of Quranic exegesis. As a later scholar, he was well-versed in the commentaries of his predecessors, discerning their valuable and weak points. He incorporated many rare and insightful benefits into his interpretation, selecting the soundest and most precise opinions and presenting them in contemporary language and style.
