He excelled in describing the city of Sana'a and its captivating beauty, in a high literary language that distinguished all his writing.
In this book, Rihani presents a range of opinions that are of interest to Arabs in particular and Muslims in general, as well as to Europeans, and the English in particular.
The purpose of this book, as its author states in its introduction, is: "To introduce my masters, the kings of the Arabs, to one another in a way that transcends formalities and superficialities, and my aim is to pave the way for understanding based on knowledge and certain information."

Therefore, the book is considered an encyclopedic and historical reference that documents an important period in the modern history of the Arabian Peninsula, and analyzes the general conditions by referring to the personalities of the rulers and their private circumstances.
