Researcher Professor Issa al-Hassan believes that certain aspects of Ottoman Caliphate history and modern Islamic history require re-examination from an Islamic perspective. This perspective, he argues, should reveal the truth and mend the rifts created by the secular, nationalist interpretation of Islamic history, which he contends has primarily served the enemies of Islam and contributed to the fragmentation of Muslim societies. He states, "When writing modern history, we must expose the role of Masonic lodges and Western agendas in shaping this insidious historical narrative. This narrative is perpetrated by a group of agents of Jewish and Christian interests, masquerading as proponents of liberalism and secularism. They promote Masonic elements on the historical stage and create a narrative of Freemasonry supporting liberation movements. Ancient and modern Islamic history is a field of study targeted by all forces hostile to Islam, as it serves as the ideological, intellectual, and educational framework for building and shaping the identity of Muslim peoples."
For this reason, this book studies and analyzes the history of the Ottoman sultans, their periods of rule, their conquests, the challenges they faced, and the battles they led, leading up to the reasons for the fall of the Ottoman state, one of which – in the author’s opinion – was the departure from applying God’s law in social, political, and economic matters, in addition to wars and strife, the spread of injustice, the sultans’ indulgence in desires and luxury, and the severity of the differences and divisions…
