Skin in the Game is the final book in the "Incerto" series, which deals with topics of rationality, skepticism, statistics, economics, information, risk, and ethics. However, it is also his most practical work, as he uses anecdotes and analogies to highlight the impact of any deficiency in the aforementioned elements on our daily lives. Thus, he reveals hidden contrasts in the world, talks about the biggest losers in certain life situations, and helps us make better decisions and achieve the results we desire. In this book, Taleb sheds light on three fundamental lessons: first, that minorities often rule majorities; second, that competent achievers are dependent on their field of work; and third, that the wealthiest are the easiest to deceive, because what they stand to lose is less than what the vendors who came to them might lose.
