This book contains a set of rules for the Arabic sentence, its composition, and its connection to meaning. It consists of two basic components: the predicate and the subject, which are the pillars of speech. It has the most important elements: the word, the morphological form, partial composition, complete composition, and vocal tone.

Among the research in this book are: deletion in the Arabic sentence, obligatory and permissible, standard and auditory deletion, deletion that requires a specific estimation and that which does not, deletion that is agreed upon in meaning and that which is not agreed upon, deletion that is required by the meaning and that which is dictated by the grammatical form, deletion that indicates one meaning and that which indicates more than one meaning according to estimation.

He also discusses the purposes of deletion, including brevity and abbreviation when evidence is present, ambiguity, consideration of rhymes and pauses, expansion and metaphor, multiplication and exaggeration... and other topics related to the nominal and verbal sentence, the major and minor sentence, the declarative and performative sentence, the reported sentence, and those that have a place and those that do not have a place in grammar, within a wide array of Qur’anic and poetic evidence supporting this.
