Rafic Ali Ahmad - a Lebanese writer, actor, and theatre director, a graduate of postgraduate studies from the Institute of Fine Arts at the Lebanese University. He is known for his monodramas and his participation in the "Al-Hakawati" theatre. He rose to prominence in Lebanon and the Arab world, where he presented his plays and participated in major festivals. He also performed roles in television and cinema. He toured with his shows in some European and American cities and won many awards for his theatrical and dramatic works, including the Best Actor award at the Carthage International Theatre Festival. The French magazine  featured him as one of the one hundred personalities moving Lebanon, and another magazine chose him as one of the forty personalities making Beirut a great city.
