The tribe refuses the marriage of "Saliha bint Aboha" to her cousin Dakhil bin Asmar, and forces her to marry her cousin Saleh, the son of the Sheikh of the Al Mahrous tribe. News reaches Saleha that her cousin has left the desert for the Emirate of Kuwait after he was prevented from marrying her. He resides in the emirate, which is hostile to his tribe, disguised under a new name, determined to start a new life in the coastal city, working as a shepherd. In the spring of 1901, Saleh Al Mahrous leaves his wife and his cousin Saleha in the desert, accompanied by her infant son and her camel "Wadha" to join the ranks of the camel cavalry with the men of Kuwait in their raid on the Emirate of Hail. He rides his camel "Sari" to the Al Sarif area, where the conflict and battle in which the tribe of the cousin and the maternal uncle are quarreling.
News of the defeat of Saliha Al Mahrous arrives, and that her husband is injured and dying in the Emirate of Kuwait to the east, where her cousin resides. The girl intends to follow the sun, the direction of Kuwait, to travel to the Emirate, hoping to meet her beloved and a similar meeting between her camel "Wadha" and her husband's camel "Sari". The girl's journey with her infant is long, in the desert on the back of the camel, in a rainy spring whose clouds obscure the sun so that Saliha does not reach her destination in the east. Between the harbingers of the sun and the good news of rain, the girl continues to move towards achieving her dream.
