This is a book suitable for young and old, with its charming style and precise description that makes the reader's imagination and thoughts wander. Perhaps what John Galsworthy said about the book is enough to describe it. He wrote: "This book of stories is different from others. Its author, Felix Salten, is originally a poet before being a storyteller. Perhaps this is one of the reasons for his ability to write about the feelings of animals, embody their emotions, and deeply anticipate nature. Although I frankly do not like the style of stories in which people talk through the mouths of animals, I found in this story what I admired in conveying real feelings and deep emotions from the conversations of animals with each other that enlighten the mind and touch the heart. I read it for the first time with my family when it was a first draft that had not yet been published, on a ferry leaving France for the town of Calais. We finished reading it before crossing the Channel... Those who understand what it means to read a book in the middle of a ferry and are tired of crossing the waterways will understand that few books endure." You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
