Todd Henry got the idea for his book while attending a business meeting when an American manager asked the attendees: What is the richest land in the world? One of them answered: The oil-rich Gulf countries. Another added: The diamond mines in Africa. The manager responded: The cemetery! Yes, the cemetery is the richest land in the world, because millions of people have gone there (i.e. died) carrying many valuable ideas that were never brought to light and were not used by anyone. This answer inspired Todd Henry to write his wonderful book, "Die Empty," in which he did his best to motivate people to unleash their latent ideas and energies in their communities and transform them into something tangible before it's too late. The most beautiful thing Todd Henry said in his book is: "Don't go to your grave carrying your best inside. Always choose to die empty."
