No matter how intelligent and wise you are, you will find that many things escape you because you are human. As for the All-Encompassing Lord, nothing escapes Him, so ask the All-Encompassing for whatever you desire of wishes, miracles and requests. The vastness of the Lord, glory be to Him, is not like the vastness of His creation, who are overcome by amazement and heedlessness of their possessions. As for Allah, the Most High, with the vastness of His kingdom, nothing on earth or in heaven is hidden from Him. This increases the believer’s connection with his Lord, and he turns to Him and asks Him for His bounty. If He delays, this is for a reason, and the servant is certain that Allah will not forget him, and that the treasures of His generosity are inexhaustible despite the large number of creation and their needs. He is reassured and has good thoughts about his Lord. O delight of the Vast Eye, what you desire will not be difficult for Him, so have good thoughts about Him until He shows you the wonder of His vastness and patience in those who have good thoughts about Him.
