This book, entitled (Atlas of the History of the Umayyad State), deals with the establishment of the Umayyad State at the hands of the Commander of the Faithful, Muawiyah ibn Abi Sufyan - may God be pleased with them - at a time when Muslims were in dire need of unity, unification of the word, and healing of the rift, especially after Al-Hasan ibn Ali - may God be pleased with them - abdicated the caliphate to Muawiyah in the "Year of the Community" in 41 AH / 661 AD. Since then ... the Umayyad State has shouldered the responsibility of spreading the banner of Islam to the four corners of the world. Muawiyah established its entity as a strong caliphate, attracted his opponents to his obedience, and worked to unify the word of Muslims. His rule was characterized by wisdom and justice (Umayyad, his journey is to the highest levels, and his mounts and roads lead to greatness). The influence of Islamic civilization spread from Damascus to distant corners of the world, making the Umayyad state the largest Islamic state known to history. Then, the Umayyad caliphs succeeded him in ruling. This atlas utilizes this great effort through detailed maps, expressive images, and selected texts, to be an expressive mirror of this important historical period in the history of the Islamic nation.
