The Ceiling of Sufficiency is a long letter from the protagonist, Nasser, to his lover, Maha, who left him and married another man. The entire novel is narrated by its hero, Nasser, in the form of his thoughts, in which he moves between two time periods: the first, in which his story with Maha began in Riyadh, and the second, in which he lives in his voluntary exile in Vancouver with his partners in his diaspora.
