You Are Here Now: A Guide to Finding Your Way

This book does not offer advice from an experienced person who teaches you how to be a successful individual. Instead, I try to clarify through it that I did not know the goals I expected to achieve in my life, and that despite achieving my modest goals, I am still discovering my abilities to achieve my goals as life unfolds. I managed my affairs by managing expectations, adhering to my core principles, finding hope in what is possible, and embracing humor in the darkest times. Sometimes people tell you that they have had a dream since childhood that they strive to achieve, that they never gave up in the face of obstacles, and that they achieved what they wished for, and therefore they are now the type who says: “You just have to trust yourself and believe in your abilities!” and it seems they can achieve what they wished for. Please know that I am not of this type; all I have done in my life is try to get through difficult times and enjoy pleasant periods, because I realize that neither lasts forever.
