Crushing It!

This book is for two audiences. The first is people who know deep in their soul that they were born to build something great. Innate entrepreneurs will find all the information they need to improve their current efforts or start making their own plans. And the second audience is everyone else who wants to hustle. This doesn't just apply to young people, or tech-savvy people, or professionals who have already established their careers, or those who want to reinvent themselves because they have outgrown their industry, or worse, because their industry is shrinking. It is in everyone's best interest to build their personal brand, even if they're not interested in wealth and fame. Not enough computer skills? Get what you need to build your brand. It's not that hard, and many of those we interviewed for this book had limited skills just like you. If you haven't noticed yet, no job is completely secure anymore. Imagine the security you would feel if you had a side hustle that you could turn into something huge if you suddenly had nothing but a lot of time on your hands (learn about Pat Flynn in Chapter 5). Despair can be a great motivator, but the stress will be much less if you plan ahead so you don't experience that feeling.
