The scope of The Daily MBA’s subject matter suffers from one of the real constraints of any book: there will always be more ideas than the available pages can accommodate. As such, there are some topics absent from this book – such as entrepreneurship, family businesses, management research methods, and changing work and career patterns – which will be essential for discussion in future editions. While not everything may be appropriate, not everything may be obligatory; students in business schools today are required to take courses in statistics or computing, and some other subjects, such as business law, which may be very limited in this book. Thus, we are left with a good general overview of the fundamentals of MBA practice and theories. I want to express my sincere appreciation for the support I received from many individuals during the writing of this book. I must thank all past and present MBA students who provided continuous feedback on the drafts, specifically Rupa Datta and Nora Eger. I also express my gratitude and thanks to my faculty colleagues at Henley Business School, particularly Carole Brent, Chris Worthington, and Peter Rice. My sincere thanks go to the patient editors and wise mentors throughout this process at Pearson Publishing, Chris Cudmore, and at home to my patient wife, Gina, both of whom deserve an award.
Shipping & Return
xReturns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (2 to 4 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (2 to 4 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply send Email or contact us via WhatsApp number. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
