Praise be to God and His grace, this blessed work on interpreting the Book of God Almighty has been completed after nearly two years of effort and with the participation of nine successful researchers, praise be to God. It came in fifteen volumes.
It is for the Imam of Imams and the leader of the nation - as Al-Marghinani said about him - Abu Hafs Najm Al-Din Omar bin Muhammad Al-Nasafi Al-Hanafi, who died in the year (537 AH).
This book of his is unique in its field, no one has written anything like it. It is a collection of gems, full of benefits, and his books on jurisprudence and other subjects are well-known in the East and the West. He is also a scholar of language and grammar, and is well-known for that. He is also one of the forerunners of the great imams of interpretation, such as al-Zamakhshari, Ibn Atiyyah, and their generation.
The author sought to achieve two things:
First: The advancement of faith and piety, due to the abundance of sermons, wisdom, and reminders of God it contains.
The second: To advance knowledge of the Qur’an in terms of language, grammar, interpretation, and exegesis, while gathering statements and transmitting traces, much of which is unique to this interpretation. He called it:
((Facilitation of Interpretation))
So its name was true to its meaning, as it was easy for whoever read it, and made it easy to know the interpretation for whoever looked at it.
The distinguished professors who participated in completing this work are:
1- Professor Maher Adeeb Haboush, may God protect him, was responsible for completing the largest portion of this book. May God Almighty grant him success.
