تخريج الحديث يُعْنَى بالدلالة على مواضع الحديث في بطون الكتب ودواوين السنة. وقد كُتِبت في هذا الفن كتب كثيرة جدا استفاد منها المؤلف مع خبرته الطويلة في علم الحديث. يبدأ هذا الكتاب الماتع بذكر الكتب المصنَّفة في هذا الباب وذكر طرائق تخريج الحديث عند الأئمة القدامى حتى يصل إلى الطرق المعاصرة في التخريج مثل المعجم الفهرس في ألفاظ الحديث ومفتاح كنوز السنة وغيرها.
وقد خصص المؤلف الباب الأخير للتخريج عن طريق الحاسوب مثل المكتبة الشاملة والمكتبة الوقفية وطرق البحث فيها. وهذه إضافة محمودة نافعة لكل القرّاء. وأضاف في آخر كل باب أسئلة وأجوبة تصلح للمدرّسين. كتاب مفيد في طباعة راقية جدا.
