It is a great blessing from God upon His servants that He has provided this religion with sincere men who have dedicated their lives and sacrificed themselves and their blood to serving their faith. Through their sincerity, devotion, and high aspirations, they have reached a lofty position, truly becoming those to whom people travel from afar. Among these great men is the learned, pious, and righteous Imam, the memorizer of the Quran, Muhyiddin Abu Zakariya Yahya ibn Sharaf al-Nawawi, author of the book: “The Adornment of the Righteous and the Emblem of the Virtuous in Summarizing Supplications and Remembrances…” Out of his intense love for the noble Messenger, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, and his praiseworthy qualities, he authored “The Adornment of the Righteous” to serve as a guide for Muslims in perfectly emulating the Master of the Children of Adam, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, in all words, deeds, and circumstances. Its reader will find within it many beneficial and blessed insights, presented with the utmost thoroughness and precision. It contains: creed, jurisprudence, hadith, conduct, and other matters, all with thoroughness, accuracy, quality of compilation, excellent presentation, clear expression, and clarification of the levels of hadiths after indicating their sources. It includes three hundred and fifty-six chapters, beginning with remembrance, then the daily and nightly practices, and concluding with seeking forgiveness. It has limited itself to including only those hadiths that are considered authoritative in practice, which is a great advantage of it.
