In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful

Praise be to God, as He deserves to be praised, and peace and blessings be upon His servant and Messenger, and upon his companions.

Now then:

Indeed, the oneness of the Creator, glory be to Him, is one of the most important things that must be cared for, in terms of writing, disseminating, teaching, explaining and guiding. It is the foundation to which all the messengers called their nations, and it is the greatest goal for which Allah created His servants, and without it, Allah does not accept any devotion or action. Allah, glory be to Him, has prepared those He chose from among His creation to document this knowledge and explain its truth as it came in the Book and the Sunnah. The predecessors of this nation lived upon it, the people closest to the time of the revelation and the most truthful in understanding it and applying its texts. What is it?

And here is the book “Ma’arij Al-Qubul” by Sheikh Hafez Al-Hakami, one of these books that has been released today in a new form after it had received attention in terms of printing and publishing. However, today it is receiving another attention - worthy of mention - from our brother Sheikh / Muhammad Subhi bin Hassan Hallaq, who spent a great deal of his life in serving many of the books of the righteous predecessors, such as: Imam Al-Shawkani, Ibn Al-Amir Al-San’ani and others.

His commendable efforts had a clear impact in publishing books that had been forgotten and exposed to destruction. This effort is considered a sacrifice to God Almighty, and we ask God Almighty to reward him for what he did.

As for his effort that he put into the book “Maarij Al-Qubul” that is in our hands, it is known through what he explained in his plan that he obliged himself to follow, and also through

Comparing the printed original without verification and the effort expended by the researcher in serving the book, this is something that the reader does not need to be informed of, even if his only effort was that he relieved the reader of the trouble of searching for hadiths and narrations, and informed him of their locations and the ruling of many of them in terms of authenticity and weakness, that would be enough effort for him to be thanked for. We do not stop at this level of praising the researcher for the effort he expended in serving this book, rather it is necessary to point out what students and intellectuals must do in terms of eagerness to study books like this and to stock up on them, and to live in their shadow, and to participate in caring for them so that they may take their rightful place, and so that this science does not disappear and its features do not fade away. It is a science that Muslims in every age cannot do without. The deviation found among some sects in matters of faith is only due to ignorance of this science and its foundations, which are the philosophers and theology, in which reason prevails over the text. How can the limited and helpless human mind be guided to knowledge of its Creator, glory be to Him, without being guided by the texts of the Qur’an and Sunnah and stopping at their limits?

We ask God Almighty to provide this nation with someone who will renew the features of its religion and guide everyone to the path of righteousness. He is the Guardian of that and is able to do it. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
