Two children from Pakistan stood up against injustice in their world. Their courage in the face of adversity is an inspiration to all who know their story. Iqbal was ready to work on a steamship to quickly target his parents. Once free, he raised his voice against child labor and was declared a "hero in the fight against modern slavery," but he was silenced at the age of twelve... by a bullet. As for Malala, all attempts to prevent Pakistani girls from going to school failed. And that didn't stop her from speaking out, even though it was the bullet that nearly took her life. Today, Malala travels the world raising awareness about girls' rights and futures. This young woman has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014.
