The emptiness in my heart grew and hurt me, and my disappointment hurt me, disappointment over something and then realizing that he had lost what he had found.

Was I dreaming? Was it a nightmare? Running in the market from one alley to another without reaching him? My eyes fell on my dusty feet, my feet that ran but did not reach him. I felt the pain of their barefoot running. Where did my shoes fall?
