This book is an immense effort and a collection of scattered poems gathered by the researcher to present us with words on pages within the folds of this valuable book. The researcher has provided a title for each poetic text, indicated the meter (bahr) of each verse, poem, or individual couplet, and numbered each verse in the poem or poetic fragment. He also mentioned the occasion for which the verse was composed, if available, allowing the esteemed reader to immerse themselves in the general atmosphere of the verses. He left his mark by explaining the subtle meanings of unfamiliar words, relying on famous dictionaries and lexicons. Furthermore, he enhanced the book by bringing together the renowned sayings and eloquent wisdom uttered by a jewel among our predecessors, preserved by history, for which we are grateful. These sayings contain profound meanings and are the product of the life experience of our Imam Al-Shafi'i, may God have mercy on him, making Al-Shafi'i's prose, poetry, and wisdom spread throughout the book.
