This volume includes the works of contemporary French Christian philosophers who insisted on creating a Christian religious philosophy that expresses their theoretical endeavors aimed at reconciling reason and faith. Most of these philosophers are unknown and obscure in Arab cultural and philosophical circles, as their works have not been translated into Arabic, and their approaches, approaches, and constructions have rarely stimulated contemporary Arab philosophical sensibilities. However, the profound and sober reflections they have produced on the Christian experience of faith deserve Arabs' attention, contemplation, and wise inspiration in deducing the place of religion in contemporary human life. One of the most dangerous outcomes of contemporary French Christian philosophies is the claim that faith that respects the independence of the human mind and protects freedom of conscience can become a philosophical subject worthy of theoretical attention and existential consideration.
