Adab al-Dunya wa al-Din is a book by Abu al-Hasan al-Mawardi, in which he compiled a wealth of etiquette and morals, drawing on verses from the Holy Quran and prophetic hadiths, as well as proverbs from the wise, the etiquette of eloquent speakers, and the sayings of poets. Originally titled The Supreme Desire on the Etiquette of Religion and Worldliness, the title that became popular is Adab al-Dunya wa al-Din.
