At the end of the nineteenth century in a small village in the Caribbean, a poor young telegraph operator and a beautiful schoolgirl pledged to marry and exchanged lifelong love. For three years, their lives were spent solely for each other. However, "Fermina Daza" married "Givinal Urbino", a brilliant doctor brimming with youth.
