He heard his grandfather, Prince Abu Al-Qasim Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad Al-Asimi and Abu Al-Hassan Abd Al-Rahman bin Muhammad Al-Dawudi and Abu Amer Al-Fadl bin Ismail Al-Jurjani and Abu Muhammad Al-Hassan bin Ahmad Al-Samarqandi and others. He wrote to me a license for all of what he heard and mentioned in the license that he authorized for us and authorized them also what he transmitted from poetry in speech and prose and composition and mentioned that the death of his grandfather Abu Al-Qasim was in Muharram of the year four hundred and eighty. He wrote in the license: I was born on the night of the eighteenth of the month of Ramadan in the year four hundred and fifty-two in Fushinj and died in Bashkidban on the night of Friday the seventeenth From Shawwal of the year five hundred and twenty, and he was carried to his country and buried there.
