There is disagreement about the name of this poet, but the sources of his biography agree on his kunya "Abu Layla" and his nickname "Al-Nabighah". As for the reason for his nickname Al-Nabighah, it is said that he used to write poetry, then abandoned it in the pre-Islamic era, then returned to it after he converted to Islam, and so it was said: He excelled. He excelled and mastered all poetic genres: praise, satire, pride, description, and wisdom. It is famous that he recited verses to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed that God would not close his mouth. He had one of the most beautiful mouths of people. Al-Nabighah was a conquering poet, but when he satirized, he was defeated. In this book, the researcher re-collects the poetry of Al-Nabighah Al-Ja'di, adding excerpts from his poetry to the work of those who came before him, referring to a number of sources available to him.
