His humor brought him close to the gatherings of caliphs, ministers, and storytellers, and endeared him to writers and the common people. Caliph Al-Mutawakkil granted him a spacious place in his palace, and many stories and anecdotes were narrated about them. Abu Al-Ayna also had many conversations, correspondence, satire, and stories with the notables of his time, demonstrating his culture, humor, and eloquence. In this book, Antoine Al-Qawwal collects glimpses of this poet's anecdotes through his collection of poems, which embodies man's longing for life, triumphing over his disability and weakness.

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
