The poet has a collection of poems that was compiled and explained by Muhammad ibn Habib (d. 425 AH), and a number of famous ancient authors have relied on this collection. In this book, the researcher has recollected and verified Umayya’s poems, expanding on the sources, adding seventy-four verses to what other researchers have collected.
