Do we draw our destinies..? Or does fate manipulate us as it wishes..? The doctor walks in the line of his novel (You and I) searching for this big question. It is an arduous journey he underwent, full of love, hope, struggle, and disappointments, and the most important thing in it was his precious treasure, friendship, which he portrayed in its highest meanings, with its finest details, carrying what it usually carries of sincerity, devotion, eagerness towards a friend, and loyalty. On the other hand, it is a journey to prove oneself. When the self is besieged by various life misfortunes, from injustice, poverty, death, and deprivation, when it is besieged, he sees it in his novel rise, seeking salvation and is saved. The characters were a model of the Eastern Mediterranean man, that man who suffers, struggles, resists, and wrestles with his fate. Sometimes his fate overcomes him, and sometimes it overcomes him, so that life moves forward, from the bottom to success. This is what we read in these beautiful lines.
