Living abroad sucks the best out of you, takes your essence and passion for life, your dreams and the best years of your life. It takes away some of your features and gives you a new face that perhaps doesn't resemble you. It turns you into a robot programmed to run day and night to live between the two extremes of life. Living abroad here, you live alone, no matter how many friends or relatives you have, no matter how many people claim to love and adoration you are. No one here cares about your problems or feels what's going on inside you. Everyone is preoccupied with their own affairs, deaf to your voice, even when you're talking to them face to face. Alienation here is when you scream for help in a moment of weakness, knowing that no one will save you but yourself. Always striving to draw a smile on lips exhausted from groaning, dancing over wounds that no one but you knows about, pretending to be alive in order to stay alive.
