"A true story whose events took place at the beginning of the 19th century. To write it, the author, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi, did not just rely on the documents he possessed. Instead, he visited the city of Salem in the United States of America, where he matched the old buildings of the remaining part of the city, and the town of Johannesbourg. He also visited the Peabody Museum and the Essex Institute document center in Salem. In the East, he searched for the descendants of Johannesbourg in Dhofar and found Mr. Abdul Khaliq bin Salmeen bin Rabie, the son of a well-known lady in Dhofar. Through her, he found the descendants of Johannesbourg and the mother, Breekhon. The narrative sheds light on its hero, Abdullah, who begins recounting his story from 1805. It then mentions a significant character, Abdullah bin Aqeel, one of the Alawite Sayyids in Dhofar and a well-known merchant in the Red Sea. He owned many ships and was the one who agreed with the French to establish an agency for them on Kamaran Island. The story tells the exciting tale of that American boy who became a sheikh of the tribe after the sheikh's death and earned the trust of his tribe members."
