Happiness and positivity in Arabic poetry

Happiness is not the property of one person over another, and it is not a value that can be disputed, bought or sold. Rather, it is a reality that lies hidden in some form, place and time. Either you seek it and attain it, or you are against it, and in this case you will inevitably perish.
A person may spend his life searching for happiness without realizing that he possesses it. He searches for it far away, while it is close by. He may realize this after it is too late, and his inner voice says:
I knew when knowledge was of no use to a young man
The one I lost was with me
Since the owners of psychological theories have given themselves permission to search for happiness, poetry has also given us permission to search for it. Poets are the sources of human sensitivity, and they are more capable of realizing the essence and truth of happiness than others.
Hence, the study saw the need to pay attention to the poetic discourse of the most famous poets of Arabic literature during the various eras from the pre-Islamic era to the present day, and to study and analyze the poetic evidence related to happiness in their poems and how they arrived at it and achieved it.
This study remains a prelude and a key to broader future studies that include other literary genres such as the story, the novel, the maqama, and the biography, which enriches social and psychological research and studies related to human life, its nature, and its value. The state of this study says:
