Social media users interacted with the novel due to its human dimension and sublime message, in which the author was able to reflect his memoirs and the events he and his family experienced in London. The novel is a distinctly Emirati one, whose events were lived by its author, and it tells the reality of an Emirati family that experienced dramatic transformations, between the surprises of fate and the roles of heroism, as a man and a woman lived a story that carried within it a model of sacrifice, patience, and facing the vicissitudes of life. The scenarios and scenes are full of destinations, characters, features, places, and times. The heroism was for two pivotal characters in the novel, marked by that relationship, in which the head of the family played the role assigned to him and succeeded in being equal to the challenges his family faced. The novel reveals to us human suffering and common humanity. The writer succeeded in linking the combination of the place to which the narrator belongs and the land of fog with those scenes that took place between several European, Arab and Asian cities, as if through this symbolism he wanted to emphasize those Emirati values ​​that embody sacrifice, love, tolerance, patience and goodness. Perhaps what distinguishes the novel, which is closer to biographical literature, is its ability to break the elitist style of writing with the aim of reaching readers in the Arab world.
