Flesh for Sale is a novel whose protagonist, the journalist "Bashayer," is keen on uncovering everything hidden behind the curtains. She searches for the truth, especially the truths and secrets of people. She seeks secrets that cannot endure what is concealed behind false masks, damaged hearts, and black consciences—secrets unrelated to humanity.
"Bashayer" travels and searches for those who have drowned, shackled in cursed marketplaces, among traffickers and victims of human trafficking.
Ten chapters embody various stories: a man who exploits a woman, draining her energy until her last moment, leaving her to bleed pain and tears until her demise... a young man who uses girls as a source to make money, ready to crush their faces into the ground for a few dirhams... a father and mother who excessively neglect their little girl until her feet slip into the pit of deviance... and a girl addicted to sleeping with men and fulfilling her desires with them.
And a woman whose sole purpose in life is to make strangers fall in love with her... and a teenager who takes "Lithium" pills due to extreme depression and psychological pressures she experiences.
At the end of each chapter, there is an awareness pause to realize reality and consider issues before making mistakes.
The goal of the novel is to raise awareness in society, especially the current generation.
