"Love is as old as humanity. In fact, if we use the logic of interpretation, it is ancient and not newly created, for it is associated with Allah Almighty. All cultures of nations, peoples, and religions have known it, and its record is filled with poetry and prose, after people lived its stories and tales, or translated it from various fields. Love is a distinctly Arab choice, containing divine inspirations referred to in the Holy Quran, and elaborated upon by mystics and people of the heart, and those crazy poets, centered by the tribe of "Banu Adhra," with convoys of Arab lovers distributed to its right and left. The love of Allah Almighty and dissolving into His perfection and beauty remains the aspiration of seekers, the destination of those who have arrived, and the ultimate wish of those who weep before His creations in which He has placed some of His spirit. Alongside this profound meaning, Arab and foreign writers and thinkers will weave necklaces of pearls, more beautiful and precious than fine jewels, about love and humanity. The Greek philosopher "Plato," who wrote a book on love, says in it, "Love creates all arts, and it is the founder of peace among humans." Similarly, the Indian philosopher "Tagore" says in another way, "He who seeks love knocks on the door. But the lover finds the door open." This is also the philosophical love expressed by Kahlil Gibran in many of his poems.
