Diving with seven provisions

The author in brief: He was born in the Al Manara neighborhood in Umm Suqeim, one of Dubai's coastal villages, and grew up in a marine environment associated with fishing, shipbuilding, and pearl diving. As a child, he absorbed stories of the diving and heroic deeds of the country's leading sailors. The councils would be crowded with visitors from all walks of life, including sailors, captains, divers, and sailors. These stories and narratives painted a diverse picture in the author's mind of these voyages, the types of ships, their equipment, and diving tools. He worked with his father, a wooden shipbuilder in the authentic old style before the winds of change and modernity swept across the country. He was his assistant in this profession when he was just ten years old. He loved this profession and everything associated with it, even loving the smell of wood! He also collected and documented a number of previously unpublished poems related to the marine environment, which he documented in this book. He joined the Dubai Police General Command as a helicopter pilot, and as part of his professional duties, he practiced air navigation, a branch of authentic maritime navigation. He is passionate about maps, navigation, observing the stars, and learning their names and locations.
