Let there be light

The Cold War dragged on until it seemed as if it would last forever. Then, just as the people of the Earth were certain they were capable of it, weapons emerged to announce the birth of a new era. Dark nights multiplied, and injustice gave birth to a black offspring with a long cloak that extended to cover the edges of the world. As the daughters of time melted into each other, breezes of light began to illuminate the margins neglected by the hand of killing, and life began to slowly return. However, it seems that the third war was not enough for a handful of survivors to learn the lesson well. The tape of chaos was repeated, and the earth, which had become empty except for dozens, was no longer sufficient to satisfy the ambitions of men. The plans began on a blank page that quickly turned to black. This is a story told in the past that humanity will soon receive. A few survivors of the nuclear war, who are destined for long lives, and are granted the opportunity to populate the Earth, but humans are humans, as the struggle for power quickly returned, just as it was before the countries met in a war that nearly made humanity obsolete. Nour and her husband Rashid emerge from hiding to find their once prosperous city deserted, with nothing but death on the sidewalks. The husband searches for survivors, only to find their hopes shattered by a wall of corpses strewn haphazardly on the streets. The husband's patrols continue, and they realize that a new world is taking shape, one that knows no bounds to humanity. After a few days, they realize they have no choice but to flee a life that is more like a jungle. The journey begins, seeking a breath of humanity beyond the city limits.
