This promotional book on nursing care after open heart surgery is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of nursing care after open heart surgery, a critical procedure. The team must be sufficiently qualified to handle patients requiring intensive care, which is care provided to those needing close monitoring or specialized treatment that cannot be offered in general wards. This book will be of great value to nursing students at various levels, based on the US National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators. The study aimed to enhance nursing management after open heart surgery. The number of nurses working in intensive cardiac care was 98, each with at least six months of experience in cardiac intensive care. They were selected using a comprehensive coverage method for data collection. Interview and observation checklists were used over a period of six months, and the variables were the procedures to be performed for the patient after open heart surgery. The author emphasized the importance of training in this part of surgery and how it was the most influential factor in nurses' performance, as they would be able to provide excellent service if they were well-trained.
