The Lost One

She felt pain as she touched that emotional void, but she still didn't know the way out of her hell. When she married her cousin Hassan, hatred and resentment drove her into the arms of her neighbor Nader. That day, she felt feelings of revenge and vengeance for her dignity. But in her new marital home, she sought salvation from a deadly isolation, slowly and surely leading her to ensnare her boss, Dr. Sami. At first, she thought about career advancement, but now she seemed indifferent to it. All she dreamed of was a man's chest to rest her weary head on, a man who would awaken her femininity. She had changed a lot over time. She stared at the mirror that brought her back to reality, as if she had just walked out of a movie. She began to observe the wrinkles that had started to appear on her forehead and neck. She smiled sarcastically, before tears streamed down her cheeks and she screamed loudly, "I am nothing, I am useless, I am lost, I am lost."
