Therefore, the idea of ​​preparing this book came as a beginning to the emergence of the science of media briefing, starting from its inception, stages of development, concept and importance, and shedding light on the impact of technological development on the role of media briefing, its role in guiding and developing society, its impact on members of society and raising their awareness during crises and disasters and what they should avoid during that period, its role in good planning to develop society to confront crises and disasters, and the methods, means and stages of briefing to confront and manage crises and disasters and how to make decisions. The author touched on presenting a model of the UAE in confronting crises and disasters through media briefing methods. Since the term media briefing is not familiar to society in the UAE, God protected us first and then supported our wise government in averting risks. It must be emphasized that our government's position, embodied in the words of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan - may God protect him - "Don't worry," summarizes many of the mechanisms and objectives of media briefing. A model media briefing plan for dealing with crises and disasters was also presented, outlining how media briefings and politicians can handle crises and disasters.
