Young Hee, who suddenly woke up from a dream, refusing to eat any kind of meat and took vegetarianism as a path for her nutrition, before it was gradually revealed to us that the decision had its philosophy, which also dragged her older sister's husband into an intimate relationship to the point of merging between two bodies without uttering a single word, merging with a single physical scene of an epic painting that constitutes a large part of the novel's fantasy, and intertwining in a surreal scene drawn and documented by her sister's husband, the painter, who suddenly appeared as a central character in the novel after being marginal in its first chapters. The novel brutally poses a question about the causes of life and the justifications for survival through its heroine's refusal of any means of providing nourishment to her body, as if she were saying that nothing is worthy of survival except a few roses and trees that might be born from our bodies if we cling to the earth to draw our sustenance from it. A boldness that leaves us facing the ease of death for the sake of the idea and mocks us because we continue our lives with daily routines that seem monotonous when compared to the uprising of vegetarianism.
