It is one of the parts of the memoirs of the French writer, thinker, and feminist activist Simone de Beauvoir (1908-1986), which the publishing house announced that it will publish in full translated into Arabic. De Beauvoir, who won the Prix Goncourt for her novel "Les Intellectuals," in which she dealt with the personal lives of philosophers and friends, wrote her autobiography and published it over separate years in four books: "Memoirs of a Dutiful Daughter" (1958), "The Force of Life" (1960), "The Force of Things" (1963), and "All's Said and Done" (1972). In "The Force of Things," she addresses the dispute between Camus and Sartre and their relationship with the Soviet Union and Cuba.
