Taha Hussein had what can be considered a unique cultural project, in which he sought to study the arts of ancient Arabic literature critically, based on solid scientific foundations, free from all preconceived biases, and distinguished by his boldness in criticizing constants. This led to many problems and clashes between him and political, religious, and academic institutions. He was accused several times of heresy and ignorance, and was removed from his job at the university. However, his scholarly determination to uncover the truth did not waver. The book before you is a collection of lectures delivered by the author to the public on the arts of Arabic prose and poetry before and after the emergence of Islam, the development that occurred in them and their relationship to each other, as well as their relationship to other literatures. It also traces the stages of the emergence of prose and its independence from poetry, and highlights the most prominent figures in this art form, which did not have the same influence as ancient Arabic poetry.

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (2 to 4 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (2 to 4 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply send Email or contact us via WhatsApp number. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
