My grandmother Masoumeh taught me that the reward must be greater than the tax, otherwise there is no point in what you do. In this experience, I paid a very large tax that I never imagined I would live through one day, but I reaped a great reward. It is the reward of experience. I had a unique experience that was like a beacon of vision that I carried with me throughout my life, and without it, I would not be who I am today. I find that it was the first thing that refined my legal personality, broadened my horizons, and opened my eyes to the secrets of a painful reality. It made me alert, deeper in understanding, and more knowledgeable about reality, people, and the most miserable societies. The person I carry inside me now is the reward of that experience. That is enough for me to overcome the bitterness of its tax
